 'WHOOPI' UPSET: RATED TOP SHOW OF NIGHT Wed Sep 10 2003 10:26:32 ET High-Fives in Studio City this morning as NBC/CARSEY-WERNER's WHOOPI pulled the biggest audience in primetime last night, with a 12.5 rating/20 share. Despite cat calls from the critics, the sitcom had more than double the viewership of its nearest competitor. MORE WHOOPI scored nearly three times the audience of anyone else in New York City in the 8:00 pm ET timeslot, with a 14.0 rating/22 share on WNBC. Nearly 1 out of 4 homes in Gotham with TVs turned on were tuned to Goldberg, NIELSEN claims.
