 Cheney's Daughter To Speak At Nashua, NH, Lincoln Day Dinner Wed Feb 13 2002 10:08:24 ET Elizabeth Cheney Perry, daughter of Vice President Dick Cheney, will be a featured guest at the Nashua, New Hampshire Lincoln Day dinner, it was reported on Wednesday. Ms. Cheney said, "I'm happy to be able to do it. It's a real pleasure to be up here in New Hampshire and to be talking at Lincoln Day dinners about the important things that are going on now with this Administration and the leadership of our President. So I'm thrilled to be here." VP Cheney and his wife have asked the media for privacy when it comes to their children. "They are not in politics," Mrs. Cheney once said. Daughter Cheney's main message at the dinner is "about the President's agenda as he laid it out in his State of the Union address and about what this means for our children. As the mother of three daughters, I think it's really important to talk about the fact that this President and this Administration are really shaping the country that they will inherit, and the extent to which our national security is so important, and his with efforts with respect to education and the economy also."
