PAPER: MINUTE-BY-MINUTE ACCOUNT OF HOW BLAKE DID IT & THE MAN WHO TURNED HIM IN Wed Apr 24 2002 12:44:06 ET A Hollywood stuntman has told the NATIONAL ENQUIRER that Robert Blake tried to hire his father to kill Bonny Lee Bakley! The upcoming blockbuster interview prompted Blake's attorney to go preemptive on Wednesday with a spin of the stunning ENQUIRER revelations. MORE "Blake told my dad he didn't like Bonny, didn't approve of her lifestyle and wanted her out of the way," Cole McLarty -- son of veteran stuntman Gary McLarty, who worked with Blake on BARETTA -- tells the paper. "My dad thought 'This guy has totally flipped!'... I don't know how much Blake offered but it was a good amount of money." McLarty continues: "The night my dad learned that Bonny was shot, he knew right away that Blake was behind it."
