Dear Friend,

Your support for my campaign has helped me gather strength all across the country.

We've got a growing, talented staff, key endorsements from local, state and national leaders, and the right ideas to restore the American Dream and to build a secure and prosperous America. Nearly all the national polls of Democrats show me in the lead, and I'm either ahead or in second place in most of the early primary states.

To keep this momentum going, I am calling on you once again to help.

Why now? First, every dollar my campaign collects today means so much more than a dollar down the road. The more we raise now, the more time I can spend meeting voters when it counts most - close to the primaries and caucuses in early 2004.

And second, all the candidates are filing fundraising reports on March 31st. Because of my pledge not to run against Al Gore, I got off to a relatively late start in this race. I don't expect to have raised the most money by the end of this month, but I do plan to show a growing base of financial support from people all across the nation.

Time is of the essence. Please take a moment now to help me once again by making as generous a contribution as you can possibly afford. Click here to make a secure online contribution now.

I would not be running for President if I did not believe I had the strength, the vision and the values to make ours an even greater nation for our children. As President, I will give new hope to working families, because a strong middle class means a strong America and I will continue to fight for opportunity and social progress. I will ensure, always, that we are a strong and secure nation.

You know as well as I that we can do better than our current leadership. But I cannot engage in the battle for a better America without first winning the battle for the nomination. I deeply appreciate your early support for my campaign, and I need your renewed help at this crucial time.

Your friendship means so much to Hadassah and me, and we look forward to seeing you on the campaign trail.

Sincerely,

Joe Lieberman
