Overall ratings for this past Sunday [10/26] show Stephanopoulos struggling in 3rd place yet again. NATIONAL RATINGS SUNDAY 10/26 NBC Meet the Press 3.5/10 4.684 million [viewers] CBS Face the Nation 2.4/7 2.969 million ABC This Week 1.8/5 2.400 million FOX News Sunday 1.5/4 2.043 million [Note how FOX is nipping at ABC's heels; will new FOX SUNDAY recruit Chris Wallace be able to take them out soon?] This weekend's performance by Stephanopoulos marks the 3rd time since the much hyped Sept 14th relaunch -- new set, new graphics, new Executive Producer, new format -- that he has hit the basement in the ratings. THIS WEEK also came in last place in the Washington, DC market, once again, NIELSEN research shows. The selection and marketing of George Stephanopoulos was designed to appeal to younger viewers -- but younger viewers are rejecting the show outright, DRUDGE has learned. Just this past week, they came in last place among viewers ages 25-54.
