 Support The DrudgeReport; Visit Our Advertisers  CIA investigating death at Iraqi prison Mon May 3 2004 16:11:03 ET The CIA's inspector general is investigating the death of an inmate at the Abu Gharib prison near Baghdad where American soldiers were photographed with nude, hooded prisoners in humiliating sexual poses, an official said Monday. "The CIA inspector general in conjunction with Department of Defense has had underway an investigation of alleged abuse of Iraqi prisoners, including one who died in Abu Gharib prison," the CIA official said. The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, gave no details on the circumstances surrounding the prisoner's death. "I have nothing further on it other than they are looking into it," he said. |
