NBC News� �Nightly News with Tom Brokaw� placed second with 8,740,000 total viewers and 2,690,000 Adults 25-54. Last week Peter Jennings anchored the broadcast from Denver (5/3), Houston (5/4), and Miami (5/5). The ratings mark the first time since September 24, 2001 that �World News Tonight� beat �Nightly News� in both demos with Peter Jennings and Tom Brokaw anchoring the broadcasts.
