STARR'S NEW WOMEN
**Must Credit the DRUDGE REPORT**
Whitewater prosecutor Kenneth Starr has just been introduced to a half-dozen
new women. Lawyers for Paula Jones handed over key files this week after
Starr requested information on any "Jane Does" that have given sworn
statements relating to the Paula Jones sexual harassment case.
Documents, including affidavits, involving at least six women have been
passed to investigators. It has been learned that sworn statements
reportedly made by Jo Jenkins, Beth Colson, Dana Reese, Susie Whitaker,
Shelia Lawrence and Betsy Wright are now in the possession of Starr.
Starr has also obtained the sworn statements of Ms. Lewinsky and Kathleen
Willey, who allegedly was groped by Clinton at the White House. There is
much concern behind-the-scenes that the public relations image problem may
flare over Starr's new direct connection with the Jones civil case.
"His use of evidence collected during civil proceedings is, on the surface,
publicly concerning," a source with intimate knowledge of the situation
tells the DRUDGE REPORT.
"But there is a method to the madness. [Investigators] are looking for
repeated patterns of witness tampering."
Grand Jury proceedings are secret; there remains a tight gag order on all
players in the Paula Jones case. Developing...

John F. Kennedy Jr., editor-in-chief of GEORGE, drew snickers today in a
speech at the American Association of Advertising Agencies Media Conference
in Anaheim, Calif., when he said he believed President Clinton's denial of
Oval Office liaisons. AD AGE DEADLINE captured Kennedy's funny: "I was
under that very desk 35 years ago," Mr. Kennedy said. "I could tell you
there's barely room for a three-year-old."

MONICA, CLOSE-UP AT PENTAGON
"Now while much of the coverage of the Monica Lewinsky story is naturally
focused on the Grand Jury investigation, AMERICAN JOURNAL has uncovered some
revealing video of the former White House intern proudly perched in a V.I.P.
seat at a major Pentagon celebration. It could be another embarrassing
visual reminder of Lewinsky's connection to people in very high places. Now
this exclusive and potentially damaging video.
It was a Pentagon bash to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the US Air
Force; all the top brass were there. And so was the President.
"....50 years later our Air Force remains a world class
force without fear."
It wasn't a speech designed to make the evening news but as the Air Force
generals, the armed forces chiefs and cabinet members listened, the
camera catches this_____
___That's a face no one knew back in September but everyone knows her today.
Monica Lewinsky. She's in a section reserved for just 60 Very Important
Persons. As the camera continues to pan around the crowd, Monica is caught
again. There she is in the second row of the V.I.P. section, right on the
isle. The man in the foreground is a 4 star general. And look, you get an
even better view from this still from the Pentagon files. There she is,
sitting right behind former Army Secretary Togo West. There's John Dalton,
Secretary of the Navy, and the Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
And, Air Force General Joseph Ralston:
"...your spirit, your dedication, your skill
that helped America master the skies"
And look, unlike Monica, thousands of other Pentagon employees and military
personnel are standing shoulder to shoulder in the stifling heat. A
Pentagon spokesman told AMERICAN JOURNAL that Monica was not invited to the
event. They claim she just happened to grab an empty seat just yards from
the President. Later that day, a presidential story that did make the
evening news: Family man Bill Clinton, and Hillary, took Chelsea to college."
